北京舞蹈学院是一所以高素质舞蹈人才培养、高水平舞蹈理论研究和作品创作为主要任务的全日制普通高等学校。学院前身为北京舞蹈学校，始建于1954 年，是新中国第一所专业舞蹈学校。1978 年经国务院批准正式成立北京舞蹈学院，隶属于文化部，2000 年划转北京市人民政府。学院具有学士和硕士学位授予权，是中国唯一一所专门化的舞蹈教育高等学府，也是当今世界规模最大、专业设置全面的舞蹈知名院校，被誉为“舞蹈家摇篮”。

近年来学院不断深化舞蹈教育教学改革，现设有中国古典舞系、中国民族民间舞系、芭蕾舞系、国际标准舞系、音乐剧系、舞台美术系、创意学院（含编导系、现代舞系、影像新媒体中心）、人文学院（含舞蹈学系、艺术传播系、艺术理论部）、教育学院，思想政治理论课教研部、继续教育学院、附属中等舞蹈学校等教学机构，共同形成具有中国特色的舞蹈教育体系。学院现有在编教职员工近600人，全日制在校生2400余人（本科生1300余人、研究生300余人、附中学生800余人），继续教育学院现有学历和非学历教育学生约7000余人，舞蹈考级院每年在海内外培训舞蹈考级师资超10万人次，约120万学生参加舞蹈等级考试。

1955年起开始招收外国学生，截止目前已有来自美国、英国、法国、德国、加拿大、新加坡等几十个国家的学生来校学习，教育层次涉及研究生、本科、附中以及专业进修等。学校已分别与英国、美国、意大利、韩国、新西兰、新加坡、奥地利等国家以及香港和台湾地区的十几所院校及专业机构签署了合作协议，稳步开展教师交流、学生互换、联合编创、演出等校际合作项目，并开展了本科生、硕士研究生联合培养等双学位合作项目。

建校以来，学院坚持立德树人，全面履行人才培养、科学研究、社会服务、文化传承与创新、国际交流合作等重要职能，努力建设中国特色世界一流舞蹈大学。

Beijing Dance Academy is a full-time higher education institution, committed to cultivating excellent professional dancers, choreographers, and dance researchers. Founded in 1954, BDA, once known as Beijing Dance School, is the first professional dance school established after the founding of the People’s Republic of China. In 1978, with the approval of the State Council, BDA was officially established with an affiliation to the Ministry of Culture which was then transferred to the Beijing Municipal Government in 2000. As a degree-granting institution, the academy is the only professional higher education institution for dance in China. Praised as “the cradle of dance artists”, it is also the largest dance school in the world providing comprehensive majors and programs.

In recent years, under continuous in-depth restructuring of dance education and teaching, BDA now consists of Department of Chinese Classical Dance, Department of Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance, Ballet Department, Department of Ballroom Dance, Department of Musical Theater, Department of Stage Design, School of Creative Studies (including Department of Choreography, Department of Modern Dance and Image & New Media Center), School of Humanities (including Department of Dance Studies, Department of Art Communication and Department of Art Theory), School of Education, Department of Ideological-political Science, School of Continuing Education, the Affiliated Secondary School of BDA and etc., formulating a dance education system with Chinese characteristics. Currently, the campus is home to about 600 in-service faculty and staff, and 2400 full-time students (around 1300 undergraduates, over 300 graduate students and over 800 students from the affiliated Secondary School), apart from around 7000 students from the School of Continuing Education (diploma and non-diploma courses). Each year, the School of Dance Grade Education trains over 100,000 teachers of dance grade examination at home and abroad, and nearly 1,200,000 students take the dance grade examination organized by BDA.

Since 1955, BDA has started to enroll international students. Up to now, students from dozens of countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada and Singapore have come to study here. The educational levels cover postgraduate studies, undergraduate programs, affiliated middle school education as well as professional training courses. BDA has signed cooperation agreements with more than a dozen universities and professional institutions from countries including the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, South Korea, New Zealand, Singapore and Austria, as well as from Hong Kong and Taiwan regions. It steadily conducts inter-institutional cooperation projects such as teacher exchanges, student exchanges, joint choreography and performances. It has also launched dual-degree programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Since its founding, BDA adheres to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. It comprehensively fulfills important functions such as talent cultivation, scientific research, social services, cultural inheritance and innovation, and international exchanges and cooperation. It is striving to build a world-class dance university with Chinese characteristics.

学校拥有近百间专业舞蹈教室，为人才培养提供了充足的教学场地，是世界上教室数量最多的舞蹈院校。

学校拥有先进的舞台设备，供师生进行实践演出。演出场地包括舞蹈剧场（912席位）、黑匣子剧场（200席位）、音乐厅（120席位）、创演实验室（72席位）、演艺合成实验室（100席位）、沙龙舞台（200席位）、媒体艺术实验室、数字音频中心等。其中舞蹈剧场以其专业理念和先进技术，成为舞蹈界展示新作、排演经典、举办赛事的高端舞台。

现为中国舞蹈资料收藏历史最长、品种最全、资料价值最高的专业图书馆。馆藏中外文图书26万余册、中外文期刊1400种、音像制品三万余件、照片及散页资料三万余张，还建有舞蹈特色资源库，大部分舞蹈资源已数字化，可供读者网络阅览。

学校的留学生公寓可提供标准间住宿，房间内空调、电话、电视、桌椅、卫生间等设施，24小时供应热水。

学校卫生所配备舞蹈专业理疗设施。

The Academy has nearly one hundred dance studios for dance training, the largest number of studios in dance schools across the world.

The Academy has been equipped with advanced stage facilities for the teachers and students to carry out performing practices. The venues include: Dance Theater (912 seats), Black Box Theater (200 seats), Concert Hall (120 seats), Creative Performance Laboratory (72 seats), Performing Arts Integration Laboratory (100 seats), Salon Theater (200 seats), Media Art Laboratory, Digital & Audio Center, and so on. Among them, the Dance Theater, due to its professional concepts and advanced technology, has become a high-end stage to showcase new works, rehearse and perform classics and hold dance contests.

With the largest collection of dance materials of highest value, the oldest professional library in China houses over 260,000 volumes of Chinese and foreign books, 1,400 Chinese and foreign periodicals, over 30,000 pieces of audio and video materials as well as more than 30,000 pieces of photos and scattered pages. It has also built up a resource database featuring dance, in which most of dance records have been digitalized for the readers to browse on-line.

The Foreign Students Dormitory Building offers standard rooms for accommodation with air conditioner, telephone, TV set, desk, chairs, and private bath room. Hot water is available 24 hours.

There is a clinic with physical therapy devices on campus.

PROGRAMS AND FIELDS OF SPECIALIZATION

具有相应专业的大学本科或同等以上学历，并获得汉语水平考试（HSK）新版五级证书者。

申请舞蹈表演专业（含中国古典舞、中国民族民间舞、芭蕾舞、国际标准舞）、舞蹈教育专业、音乐剧专业具有高中毕业或同等以上学历，并获得汉语水平考试（HSK）新版四级证书者；申请舞蹈编导专业、舞蹈学专业、戏剧影视美术设计专业、艺术管理专业、具有高中毕业或同等以上学历，并获得汉语水平考试（HSK）新版五级证书者。

申请我校附中中国舞、芭蕾舞、国标舞、歌舞专业的国际学生，参照每年附中的招生简章，来校提交外籍身份材料并参加学校的统一考试。

具有高中或同等以上学历，具有相当的舞蹈水平并有一定汉语基础者。

注：1）考生必须是持有效护照的非中国籍公民；品德良好，遵循中华人民共和国法律、法规，无犯罪记录。

2）申请者的身体健康状况须符合我校要求，年龄一般在40岁以下。

3）我校对外籍身份的认定，执行教育部《关于规范我高等学校接收国际学生有关工作的通知》（教外函〔2020〕12 号）和教育部教外来〔2009〕83号文的相关规定。申请人父母双方或一方为中国公民并定居在外国，本人出生时即具有外国国籍的，不具有中国国籍。其申请作为国际学生进入我校本科阶段学习，除符合学校的其他报名资格外，还应持有有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件4年（含）以上，且最近4年（截至入学年度的4月30日前）之内有在外国实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在外国居住满9个月可按一年算，以入境和出境的签章为准）。祖国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾居民移民并获得外国国籍的申请人也须满足上述条件。

对于根据认定可以参加中国高考的外国学生，一律按照国内学生的报名和考试内容进行。

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines or equivalent and a certificate of new HSK (a Chinese language proficiency test) Level 5.

For Dance Performance (including concentrations on Chinese Classical Dance, Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance, Ballet, Modern Dance and Ballroom Dance),  Dance Education and Musical Theater applicants should hold a secondary school diploma or equivalent and a certificate of new HSK Level 4; for Choreography, Dance Studies, Drama Film and Television Art Design, Art Management, applicants should hold a secondary school diploma or equivalent and a certificate of new HSK Level 5.

Applicants should hold a secondary school diploma or equivalent, reaching qualified level in dance and having basic Chinese language ability.

For Studying Chinese Dance, Ballet, Ballroom Dance, or Song and Dance at Affiliated Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy, applicants should refer to the Enrollment Guide for Secondary School Education and submit relevant documents and take the enrollment examinations at the school.

1. Candidates must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports; Well-behaved, abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, no criminal record.

2. The applicant’s health conditions should meet BDA’s requirements and should be under the age of 40.

3. According to the Document No. 12 (2020) and Document No. 83 (2009) issued by Ministry of Education of China, the applicant who has a foreign nationality and non-Chinese citizen, as well as one or both parents of whom are Chinese citizen but reside abroad, if applying for our undergraduate programs as an international student, except for meeting the above requirements, must possess a valid foreign passport or Certificate of Nationality at least 4 years and has a record of actual residence in foreign countries for at least 2 years within the last 4 years (till April 30th in the first year of studying). During one year, living in foreign countries outside China for 9 months or more could be considered as one year, based on the entry-exit record and stamps of the passport. Applicants who was citizens of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who migrate to foreign countries and obtain foreign nationality should also meet the same requirements.

International students who can take the China National College Entrance Examination according to their identity recognition results shall all register and take the same examination as domestic students do.

10.大学本科申请者还需提供：

1)申请舞蹈表演专业，需提供个人舞蹈影像资料，包含相关专业方向的考生基本条件：穿紧身练功服，不许化妆，面对镜头半身画面及全身画面、竖叉、横叉、下后腰（1分钟内）；剧目片段表演视频（2分钟内）；个人技术技巧展示(1分钟内）。

其中，舞蹈表演（芭蕾舞）方向，剧目片段表演为古典芭蕾舞变奏；

2)申请舞蹈编导专业，需提供个人舞蹈影像资料（要求舞蹈剧目片段2分钟以内，技术技巧展示1分钟以内，个人编创作品3分钟以内，以及对原创作品的中文语言阐述）。

3)申请舞蹈学专业、艺术管理专业，需提供个人舞蹈影像资料（舞蹈学要求舞蹈剧目片段2分钟以内；技术技巧展示1分钟以内。艺术管理可提供舞蹈、戏剧、音乐等表演艺术类视频），以及相关专业方向文章1篇（要求中文书写，不少于1000字）。

4)申请舞蹈教育专业，需提供个人舞蹈影像资料（要求舞蹈剧目片段2分钟以内，技术技巧展示1分钟以内）。

5）申请音乐剧专业，需提供如下个人影像资料：两首作品演唱，其中一首为音乐剧作品；中文台词表演 3分钟以内；单人小品戏剧表演 5分钟以内；舞蹈作品片段2分钟以内，技术技巧展示1分钟以内。

6)申请戏剧影视美术设计专业，需要提供个人原创画作图像资料（要求作品上有署名）。

3) For Dance Studies (concentrating on Dance History and Theory and Dance Science) and Art Management, personal dance video is required (including excerpt of dance repertory in 2 minutes) and at least 1 relevant academic essay (written in Chinese, less than 1000 characters).

4) For Dance Studies (concentrating on Dance Education), personal dance and vocal performance video is required (including excerpt of dance repertory in 2 minutes, vocal performance in 2 minutes and talent show)

5) For Musical Theater, personal vocal music video is required (including 2 pieces with one musical theater performance, acting in Chinese within 3 minutes, short single drama performance within 5 minutes, excerpt of dance performance in 2 minutes and dance techniques in 1 minute).

6) For Drama Film and Television Art Design, personal original painting is required (with signature on it).

1) Original documents of the list with "*" must be provided when you come to BDA.

2) Videos required to provide should be made in high resolution without editing or cutting.

3) Academic essays or design works should be autographed by the applicant and acknowledged as the applicant’s original work.

学历生：4月31日以前提交报名材料, 7月邮件通知录取结果。

外国留学生须于2025年4月31日前按照最新《北京舞蹈学院外国留学生招生指南》的相关要求，通过https://admission.bda.edu.cn进行申请报名，如视频上传遇到问题，可邮件至zhizhen@cucas.cn，邮件主题命名为：“2025本科+姓名+国家”。如遇资格审核材料不全者，将不准予专业考试。2025年4月前后经由学校进行统一专业视频选拔考试， 2025年6月以系统通知录取结果，被录取的申请者报考时所提供的报名材料在开学注册时需校验原件。

学历生入学时间为每年的9月，普通进修生入学时间一般为每年的9月和3月。

International students must apply and register through https://admission.bda.edu.cn before April 31, 2025 in accordance with the relevant requirements of the latest Beijing Dance Academy Enrollment Guideline for International Students. If there is any problem with video uploading, please send an email to bdahwxs@bda.edu.cn with the subject named in the format "2025 undergraduate + name + country". The students who do not submit complete materials will not be allowed to take the professional examinations. The Academy will review the submitted videos around April 2025. The admission results will be notified in June 2025. The original registration materials provided by admitted students when applying for the examination will be verified during the enrollment registration.

For Degree Programs: September

For Non-Degree Training Programs: September or March.

1. 家长能作为其监护人长期在北京工作或陪读，且在华停留期限不短于该生在华学习期限，需提供《监护人保证书》及监护人的护照复印件、在京长期工作或居住的相关证明材料；

2. 家长不能作为其监护人长期在京工作或陪读，需委托在京长期工作或居住的亲友担任该生在华学习期间的监护人，并按要求提供《监护人委托书》（在北京市的公证处进行公证）、被委托人证件复印件及其在京长期工作或居住的相关证明材料。

申请来校学习6个月以上的外国留学生须申请长期学习（X1）签证。

根据国际惯例和中国政府有关部门规定，在华学习半年以上的外国留学生必须在学校统一办理人身意外伤害和医疗保险，否则不予注册。

1. If the parent can be the student’s guardian in Beijing and can work or stay in Beijing for a period longer than the student’s duration of study, documents submitted shall include Guarantee Statement from Guardian for the International Student, photocopy of the Guardian’s Passport as well as the Guardian’s work or residence certificates in Beijing;

2. If the parent cannot be the student’s guardian in Beijing, a friend or relative who work or reside in Beijing shall be assigned as the guardian during the period of the student’s study in Beijing. Documents submitted shall include letter of Authorization to the Guardian (notarized by notarial office in Beijing), photocopy of the authorized guardian’s ID certificate as well as the Guardian’s work or residence certificates in Beijing.

Students whose duration of study lasts more than 6 months must hold X1 visa.

In accordance with international practice and relevant regulations of Chinese authorities, students whose duration of study is more than 6 months are required to purchase medical and accident insurance in Beijing.
